Jazak Pro Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Account information

If you create or use a Jazak Pro account, we may collect your name, email address, password for authentication, account ID, login/session information, and profile information you choose to provide. If you update your profile, we may collect the updated profile details and any profile image you choose to upload. If you choose Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, Firebase Authentication and the selected identity provider help verify your sign-in. Jazak Pro may receive and store your Firebase user ID, provider type, verified email address, display name if available, and the Jazak Pro backend account token used to access protected app services.

Location information

With your permission, Jazak Pro uses your device location to provide prayer times, Qibla direction, location names, and nearby mosque results. Location is mainly used for app functionality. Some location-related requests may be sent to third-party services such as Google Maps, Google Places, geocoding services, or prayer-time services so those features can work.

Push notification information

Jazak Pro uses OneSignal and local notification features to send prayer reminders and other app notifications. This may involve a push subscription ID, device notification token, device type, notification permission status, and related delivery data.

Messages sent to Jazak AI

Jazak AI requires a Jazak Pro account. If you use Jazak AI or Islamic baby name generation, the questions, prompts, or name-generation inputs you type may be processed by OpenAI or another AI service provider so the app can generate a response. Because Jazak Pro is an Islamic app, your questions may reveal religious interests or beliefs. Please do not send passwords, payment information, government IDs, private medical information, financial details, or other sensitive personal details in AI messages.

Usage analytics and AI metadata

Jazak Pro may collect basic app usage analytics such as app opens, sessions, feature opens, AI gate views, AI message success or failure, login, signup, logout, platform, app version, build number, device or push-notification identifiers, locale, timezone, approximate country from allowed device data or network headers, and safe AI usage metadata such as prompt length, response length, model, status, latency, and error code. Jazak Pro does not store full AI prompts by default for analytics.

Purchases and donations

Jazak Pro includes code for subscription or donation features through RevenueCat and the app stores. If purchases or donations are available and you choose to use them, purchase status, product identifiers, receipts, and related transaction information may be processed by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and Jazak Pro for purchase validation and account features. Payment card details are handled by the app store payment provider and are not collected directly by Jazak Pro.

Photos, images, and wallpapers

If you choose a profile image or save wallpapers to your device, the app may request access to your photos or photo library. Profile images may be uploaded to our backend if you choose to save them. Wallpaper downloads and saves are used only to provide the wallpaper feature.

Local app data

The app may store some information locally on your device, such as language settings, Quran reading settings, reciter preferences, bookmarks, tasbih or dhikr counts, notes, notification preferences, and cached app content. Local data stays on your device unless a feature specifically uploads or syncs it.

Technical and device information

We and our service providers may process technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, identifiers needed for app services, crash or diagnostic information, and network request information. This helps operate, secure, debug, and improve the app.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide prayer times, Qibla direction, mosque locator, Quran, hadith, duas, azkar, wallpapers, and other app features.
• To create, authenticate, maintain, update, and delete user accounts.
• To send prayer reminders, notification prompts, and other app notifications.
• To process support requests and respond to user messages.
• To provide Jazak AI responses when you choose to use the AI feature.
• To understand app usage, feature adoption, country-level activity, AI usage volume, and service reliability.
• To validate purchases, donations, or subscription status if those features are enabled.
• To protect the app, prevent misuse, troubleshoot errors, and improve reliability.
• To comply with legal, platform, security, and store-review requirements.

3. When Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information with data brokers. We only share information when needed to operate Jazak Pro, provide requested features, comply with law, protect users, or work with trusted service providers.

Service providers may include:

• Jazak Pro backend services hosted at backend.spiraml.com.
• Firebase/Google services for app configuration, Firebase Authentication, Google Sign-In, and related platform services.
• Apple services for Sign in with Apple when you choose that option on iOS.
• OneSignal for push notification delivery and notification subscription management.
• Google Maps, Google Places, and geocoding services for maps, mosque locator, and location features.
• OpenAI or other AI providers for Jazak AI chat and AI-powered baby-name responses when you use those features.
• RevenueCat, Apple, and Google for purchases, donations, and subscription validation if those features are enabled.
• External content/API providers used for Quran audio, live video links, Islamic content, or prayer-time related features.

4. Advertising and Tracking

The current iOS App Store build is not intended to use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. If advertising, advertising measurement, or tracking is introduced in a future version, we will update this Privacy Policy and the relevant App Store and Google Play privacy disclosures before release.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Account information is kept while your account is active or as long as needed to provide app services, resolve support requests, prevent misuse, comply with legal obligations, or maintain security records.

Usage analytics and AI usage metadata may be kept to operate the app, detect abuse, troubleshoot errors, and measure reliability. Full AI prompts are not stored by default in analytics logs.

You can request account deletion from inside the app through the profile or edit-profile area where the delete-account option is shown. When account deletion is completed, we delete or de-identify account data associated with your account unless we must keep limited information for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or platform compliance reasons.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user data, including encrypted network connections where supported. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

Jazak Pro is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

8. Your Choices

• You can deny or later disable location permission in your device settings.
• You can deny or later disable notification permission in your device settings.
• You can choose not to create an account, where app features allow guest use.
• You can avoid entering personal information into Jazak AI chat messages.
• You can request account deletion by using the in-app delete-account feature or by contacting us.

9. International Processing

Jazak Pro and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Data protection laws may differ by country, but we take steps designed to protect information as described in this policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the app or store listing.
